ANOVA now offers Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for Orthopedic Treatments
ANOVA Institute for Regenerative Medicine is now offering Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) on its own or in combination with other therapies such as Bone Marrow Concentrate (BMC) or hyaluronic acid for the effective treatment of different orthopedic problems.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a blood product derived solely from the patient’s own blood. Besides small solid components (red and white cells, bioactive proteins and growth factors) it has a large number of platelets. Especially the bioactive proteins are shown to play a vital role in tissue healing and hemostasis. PRP can thus be a powerful tool for the treatment of specific orthopedic problems.
Recent scientific work has shown the effectiveness of PRP for osteoarthritis1, tendon regeneration2, nonhealing wounds3 and musculoskeletal conditions4, amongst others.
ANOVA is now offering PRP Treatment alone or in combination with Bone Marrow Concentrate Therapy and other medical therapies for different diseases. At ANOVA, we concentrate the platelets — and with that the concentration of all bioactive compounds —5 to 10 times than usual, and administer it to the patient for it to unfold its healing properties.
